Stay away from Chadwicks no matter how nice things look on the website or in the Catalog. they are a dishonest company that sells shoddy merchandise. I have purchased clothing from Chadwicks using the Chadwicks charge account for years. The clothes used to be of good quality but now it's not even as good as what you'd get from Target or Wal-Mart. I think the whole catalog is a misrepresentation. I returned merchandise 2x to Chadwicks within the last 2 years. 1st time they acknowledged that they received the return but never issued a credit. I called them repeatedly & everyone I spoke with said I had to speak with someone else. The 2nd time they issued a credit but when I tried to use it they say the credit # is not valid. They are the only company I'm aware of that doesn't post a credit to your account.

Hello.

I recently had $12 taken by your organization. Could I please have my money back? Thank you.

I was also informed by your customer service representative that you have my credit card information, all previous home addresses and the names of my children for some reason. I never gave you this information, but it is enough to concern me greatly.

Could the deluxe subscription which I was informed that I have been selected for (I never signed up for it and I refuse my membership) and which I was told will last indefinitely at $12 per month + convenience charge of $4.95 be canceled immediately and my money be refunded?

I am also concerned if my parents and associates have been billed this amount as well. It is also my belief that my employer has been called by your organization and one of your CSR's asked personal information which was supposed to be verified by my employer such as my annual salary, my tax bracket, how many deductions I have etc.

Thank you for your attention in this matter. I was told that I may have to wait at least 6 weeks for the subscription to be canceled. Unfortunately, I have had to blind cc some organizations and leave this message on review boards. It was my sincere hope that my $12 could be refunded and my subscription canceled but now the harassing phone calls and the name calling really should stop. Your organization should pay me for this disrespect and inconvenience.

hi, i've never read this blog but i just found it while searching for chadwick complaints on google.

i recently ordered from them and used their deferred billing option.

they did "bill me early" and made my account go overdrawn but it was just a temporary hold (i guess to make sure i gave a real method of payment). a few days later the hold went away since it wasn't real money, it was just one of those holds like when you rent a car or a party room.

the 90 days haven't passed yet, so i don't know if they will charge me a few days early or not, but i do know that the merchandise i got was terrible. their website pictures make all the clothing seem very nice but it's made from terrible fabrics and they just ship them in a giant bag, not a cardboard box, so everything was extremely wrinkled and squished together.

but i bought from there because of their summer ending 80% off sale, so most flipflops were $1.99 and the suimsuits and clothes were very cheap. i think i even found a free shipping coupon online and used it. so overall i guess i got what i paid for - not much.

the worst thing i can think of about all this is that in 90 days (or 80 or whenever they charge me) i probably won't remember i placed a $200 order and i'll be cashless for christmas again :)
