Electric Orange is ING’s paperless checking product which pays a very competitive interest rate of 3.15% APY for balances up to $50,000, 4.65% APY for balances between $50,000 and $100,000, and 4.80% APY for balances over $100,000. On the account there are no minimum balances and no fees, however the biggest drawback is that it is a paperless account. That means that you don’t have a regular checkbook to write checks, although for a lot of people that is no big deal.
